I bought a bunch of these to give out at Christmas but they felt really cheap and there was nothing special about it. I returned everything.

Lamy products are amazing. Made in Germany. They're so good I've had people go into my things to steal them, even my Lamy 2000.

I just use my iPad because I got tired of replacing stolen Lamy pens and FPs but these are definitely worth getting if you keep it at home.

I hope I'm not the only person who read this as 'Larry Fine' Writing Pen (dating myself, perhaps).

I'll start off by saying they're not bad pens and the fountain pen is pretty fun to practice with but does not hold the weight you'd see out of other pens as it is made primarily in plastic and takes an ink. I was told to store it upright to prevent any potential leakage and haven't had a problem with it since buying one.

I bought a few ballpoint pens and mechanical pencils back in May. For the mechanical pencils I still prefer a Tombow, Graphgear, roTing for my notetaking and drawings, the weight, and the angles that protect the lead cannot be beat. roTing still being the best out of the three. The mechanical pencil I purchased from Lamy is not that bad in quality but comes with no eraser head and that can be a problem for quite a few people.

For the pens, the fountain pen is fun to use if you're new at writing with one and this is a pretty decent price to see if you want to adapt to the style, I found that the pen doesnt skip as much but I wouldn't carry it anywhere in a bag. The cap seems to flimsy and the clip is well made but you could absolutely be missing your pen in a travel situation. Not a bad deal overall.
