Does anyone know if the cord rewinds automatically? I can't tell.

I bought this a few days ago.

The handle is also the wand, which I don't love as it is held in with a plastic clip. Seems like a big weak point. If that breaks the vacuum will be pretty useless.

But for 70 bucks it's hard to beat. Has good suction.

I want this to be sarcasm so bad but not sure. Based on the first bullet in the posting and the picture on the product page that both say automatic cord rewind, I would guess that yes it doesn't

Just got rid of an old Dyson that I got on SD some years ago with the same problem with the handle being the wand. Too much of a pain to use. Not easy to use on stairs.

I just purchased it in store because of the price, even though my current vacuum is still fine, but DAMN that's some good suction. It is a little janky-seeming, but I thought it was pretty well thought out and the reach on it is great. Will be keeping it!
