Would never buy a low end refurbed NVME. That NVME has a theoretical maximum TBW of 600 @ 1TB. For all you know it could have 500TBW already.

Why waste a slot with such a low capacity 500GB NVMe card?

You must have a lot of time on your hands to waste returning junk.

I do applaud anyone buying used. Keeps ewaste down. SD has seems to have a small healthy crowd doing this.

You can check the stats. No, they can't wipe the TBW because that is related to the lifetime remaining number that is reported.
Amd most geek squad refurbs are just returns that they wiped.

The chances of getting junk are near 0. Where do you people come from.

An average user writes about 30GB per day, so that 100 TBW will take a bit over 9 years to hit. That said, I don't like to gamble with used hardware. People do lots of stupid s***.

When you buy it, you check the stats. If you don't like the stats return it. So simple.

Most people report barely used drives.
