Going outside is expensive af nowadays. People are asking for tips everywhere. Whoever invented the tip culture should be hanged. All companies don't pay enough to their employees and expecting customers to pay for it. Playing games is the cheapest option Frown

Oh i meant more like playing outside, picking up an instrument (wished I had done that back when I was a kid), going to the library, reading a book, learn to draw, visit museums, learn a language. There are tons of things available for free.

Heck I mowed my lawn, then I went and did my 90 year old neighbor's too cause the heat is too much for him. It's just little things like that

Anyone know any other stackable credit card deals or cash back sites to go with this and make it even slicker?

Not bad, at this point I'll wait for a redesign but I don't think one will come as soon as places are predicting. Every time I see a PS5 at a friend's house it is just so comically large haha.

Honestly hoping people start spending more time outside or find other hobbies. Nothing against gaming (my #1 hobby), but some of my friend's kids rarely leave their house. Either glued to phone or glued to pc/console

realistically, picking up an instrument and learning languages are definitely not "free" and can be quite expensive if you are even slightly serious about them -- you won't go very far or have good progress without a (good) teacher. Museums are out of question unless you live near a big city. I speak of these from my own experience. By comparison playing video games is a cheap hobby. Not as cheap as reading books, of course. But far cheaper than these or most outdoor activities.

So true about the damn tip culture. I don't face it too much because I don't use services or eat in restaurants as much as I used to. Learning how to cook has been a blessing to my wallet. Also, the minimalist lifestyle greatly helped with this.

Definitely. My nephews and nieces go straight to their iPads and iPhones when their parents come over to hang out. This is also their parents' fault as well for not controlling their use. I fear for the health (physical and mental) of future generations. Perhaps we are falling into Wall-E world where everyone will be fat on their couch.

And even if you offer to pay them livable wage and remove the tips system, they will just refuse. They just want tips, and more tips. The employers and employees are just evil alike.
