I was looking for a decent inexpensive multimeter that was capable of measuring inrush current as well as capacitance, and this seemed like a good deal on a decent meter. Might be a price mistake with the two 20% coupons on top of each other.
  1. Clip the 20% coupon
  2. Apply the code JXFP7JH7 at checkout for an additional 20% off

Why so much down votes? Kaiweets is relative unknown but a good Taiwan brand.

This is a decent deal. I picked up a similar Kaiweets clamp meter last year and it has worked well and seems to be good quality. I researched it before I bought and watched a few YouTube reviews and a teardown video and it was very well regarded by the reviewers and teardown

Being there's not much more than a bunch of vine reviews, I'd say next to free, this ought to be normal price.

This is a SD sponsored shill post. You probably never want to use a multimeter with no safety ratings....

sshhhhhhhhhhhhhiiiilllllllllllllzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz EEK!

Shills are less annoying (and a lot less common) than rude teenagers calling people shills (you) who spread misinformation (you) and very clearly don't know what they're talking about (you) but just can't help themselves.

Electronics and marine/automotive are 99.9% of what I or anyone I know does with a meter. I don't care about 600 volts or 1000 volts and neither should anyone else using it is this very ordinary way.

I just want to clarify that I do not work for SD, nor for this brand or any other company that might benefit from posting this here. I work in a totally unrelated field, and I was trying to find a multimeter with the features I mentioned and I came across this one which seemed to be of decent quality and has received good reviews (also outside of Amazon). So no, I disagree with your assessment entirely.

I was wondering the same, and after researching this it seems they're identical except for the clamp. This one allows you to attach a probe to the clamp, which may help measuring holding the multimeter and one attached probe in one hand, and the other probe in the other hand. You'd need 3 hands with the KC601, or it'd be more awkward. Other than that and minor layout difference, functionality wise they appear to be identical.

Well thank you. I was clicking around and found the KAIWEETS HT206D Digital Clamp Meter T-RMS for $41.75 and that has a 30% coupon to total $29.22.

I was looking at that one as well but it does not appear to support inrush current measurements, which is what I need to measure.

Oops, I may need that too. I want to test a mini-split install, but mostly I just want one for general use. I have a Fluke multi-meter but never had an amp-clamp before.

Heh yeah I know what you mean. I've accumulated 4 multimeters over the years, but this one I think has everything I need, so I can get rid of all the others.
