I am added to newsletter and def spent more than 5$ on steam.

I'm not even able to go to Steams store site right now so it may not have just been a linking issue. I'll just try it again later.

I got the email from them earlier today and had no problems activating the key. The game itself is fairly small, less than 200 MB download.
