While looking up RMA info, I noticed that the new controller is less expensive, so I ordered one. Not sure I would recommend the open box versions, but hopefully with a new one, it's much more likely to be ok out of the box.</p>

If this indeed NEW as stated, that's a great price. I've only ordered a refurb Sony bluetooth speakers from Serendipity, and it came pretty much brand new.

And looks like it sold out or was a price mistake. Page error now.

So did you actually get it and it was new? It is Super messed up if you're recommending this scam site and never even received a new controller.

Edit: A simple google search comes back with all the negative about serendipity.

Got this myself a week ago (only one was available that day) that claimed was new. Definitely not new as the right bumper was not working correctly right out of the gate. Other than that the controller looks brand new. Going to take it apart today and see if I can clean the tab.

<p>Looks like they just killed the deal, so must have been a price mistake. As I mentioned, I got the open box one from a previous post someone else made and ordered the new one while returning. Mine does say shipped, so hopefully someone else was able to get one.</p>

I also saw only 1 in stock last night and today they had more. I guess I may be swapping one bad one for another, but I did get their warranty (maybe another scam?), so we'll see.

OP- thanks a Ton! I grabbed two successfully. Had time to think if I'd actually make time for games or not, too. Hopefully a few other folks got lucky (unless it'll never arrive lol)

A simple Internet search also comes back with all the negatives about Amazon and Walmart and Costco, etc. Secondipity is a legitimate company. A lot of people have had positive experiences with them.

If you don't like them, don't buy from them.

I have ordered numerous times on Secondipity, they are a used, open box, overstock reseller for Target and Sony. I have mostly had good experiences with them. Returns aren't super hard, and when I did buy an Xbox controller it was like new.

It's back at $80. Again, even with the increase in $20, that's still a great deal for the non-core version. Secondipity is a retailer who resells Costco/Amazon returns.

They also have an open-box version, so these may just be returns that were never opened.
