All professional cooks use stainless steel. Pretty much every single food you've eaten at a restaurant was cooked on stainless steel

shipping was reasonably quick. the pan I got was labeled slightly different than the same one I already had (both 12in. D5 stainless), but I was more interested in the lid, so it worked out for me. old one says "MADE IN USA", and the new one says "BONDED, ENGINEERED, & ASSEMBLED IN USA".

For this event, all sales are final, no returns will be accepted. The products are sold pursuant to a limited warranty http://www.all-clad.com/CustomerService/Warranty. By agreeing to these terms you will have exclusive access to this event. IMPORTANT 1. Limit of 5 pieces of the same item. 2. Limit of one order per shipping address. 3. Orders will be processed in 10 - 15 business days and are not accepted by us until we have shipped the product(s). 4. Shipping available by UPS ground only, no exceptions."

Be aware that you need to order everything you want (up to 5 pieces) in one order unless you have another shipping address as it's one order per address.

You're not cooking on copper. That's just the core of the pan for even heating.

I got a non-stick pan and it was so warped that the lid would not stay on. They sent me a new one and let me keep the warped one.
