Deal History
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
It is a SATA drive and slower than NvME but still faster than any mechanical drive. Also uses the same port on the motherboard that most people have available on their motherboard.
Definitely get the TLC, MUCH better deal than the QLC version. Not everyone needs the advantage of TLC, but when the Lexus (TLC) is selling at the same price as Toyota (QLC) the Lexus is better. Not bashing any car, and probably a bad metaphor, but TLC is better and usually more expensive than QLC which is in a lot more drives, as it is cheaper for the manufacturer. Might as well get the one with the better components even if you don't need it.
HMB is specific to NVMe drives. No SATA drive can support it. There aren't many decent SATA drives that have DRAM these days. It's pretty much the Samsung 870 EVO/QVO and the Crucial MX500 (which has less than the ideal amount at 1TB+). There may also be an SK Hynix drive but I'm not particularly familiar with it. Few other modern SATA drives have DRAM and some companies even lie about it (ADATA, Silicon Power).
You don't have the intelligence it seems to understand his point it seems. Both the TLC & QLC drives are are made by Lexar. Just as Lexus is made by Toyota but you would not argue that Lexus is the premium division of Toyota...as TLC is premium to QLC but still made by Lexar.

Edit: thanks for this heads up. Found multiple articles stating the same. Complete deal breaker especially since it doesn't even support HMB (using system memory instead of DRAM on the controller itself).

Sorry, Lexus will always be a Toyota. And yes, it is a very bad metaphor. Please use BMW next time

Aesthetically, the Vulcan kills it. This SSD has to be one of the best-looking SATA SSDs I've ever tested. It's got Samsung-like looks with some extra style. A sleek matte-black and metal-etched silver finish commands your gaze just as much -- if not more so -- than RGB lighting.
The drive has both class and style. But, that's not all it's packing. With Silicon Motion's SM2258 controller and Micron's 64-layer 3D TLC flash powering it, it also has what it takes to boot your PC blazingly fast and load up your favorite games and apps within a moment's click. And, because it features a DRAM-based architecture, it should be able to withstand most consumer workloads and then some.
In a sea of SATA SSDs, Team Group's T-Force Vulcan stands out as an impressive specimen. Its design is simple, yet stylish and flashy. To hide it would be a shame. It's best suited for display within a gaming or showpiece desktop. And, with Micron's 3D TLC and Silicon Motion's SM2258, the Vulcan features a winning component combination too. It's well rounded and then some.

EDIT: I see that B&H has it for less using a coupon code based on the linked post.
