It is a SATA drive and slower than NvME but still faster than any mechanical drive. Also uses the same port on the motherboard that most people have available on their motherboard.

Definitely get the TLC, MUCH better deal than the QLC version. Not everyone needs the advantage of TLC, but when the Lexus (TLC) is selling at the same price as Toyota (QLC) the Lexus is better. Not bashing any car, and probably a bad metaphor, but TLC is better and usually more expensive than QLC which is in a lot more drives, as it is cheaper for the manufacturer. Might as well get the one with the better components even if you don't need it.

HMB is specific to NVMe drives. No SATA drive can support it. There aren't many decent SATA drives that have DRAM these days. It's pretty much the Samsung 870 EVO/QVO and the Crucial MX500 (which has less than the ideal amount at 1TB+). There may also be an SK Hynix drive but I'm not particularly familiar with it. Few other modern SATA drives have DRAM and some companies even lie about it (ADATA, Silicon Power).

You don't have the intelligence it seems to understand his point it seems. Both the TLC & QLC drives are are made by Lexar. Just as Lexus is made by Toyota but you would not argue that Lexus is the premium division of Toyota...as TLC is premium to QLC but still made by Lexar.

That one is for a QLC -- it's even written in that post. The one in the OP of this thread is for a TLC.

EDIT: I see that B&H has it for less using a coupon code based on the linked post.

1000 TBW for the 2tb, incase anyone was wondering. Good drive for storage that doesn't move around terribly often.
