Stick with 16 oz for around $1. Or nothing. Dont let them getting you in the habit of taking their 12 oz for around $1.

One of the best flavors IMHO.
I'm a big blue raspberry guy though.. My other favorites are cherry Starburst and strawberry Starburst.
Taste like those blue popsicles you had in your childhood.

Yes and no. It's got caffeine, which some research suggests can increase stamina temporarily. But the rest of the ingredients are utter B.S. crap with no proven health benefit whatsoever.

Also, it's got not one, but two iffy sugar substitutes: Ace-K and Sucralose.

Sucralose is gonna be in most no/low sugar energy/preworkouts. As long as you aren't taking in gobs a day, you are good.

Jury's still out, though you're probably right that it's fine for most people. It's just annoying that there are plenty of less-risky options but the companies are just cheap-asses.

The question wasn't if it was healthy it was if it was a good as a pre-workout. It'll get your blood moving, it'll open up your blood vessels, it'll aid and assist your workout, but there are healthier options. C4 is a good value brand, when on sale. Always keep some of this as your backup for when you run out of pre-workout, and keep looking for deals on better stuff

My point wasn't just about the questionable sweetener choices. But rather about my skepticism that this is even 1% better than just downing a coffee or caffeine pill (at a fraction of the cost and hassle). I come from a family of stubborn scientists and have researched a bunch of this stuff and I have yet to find any solid scientific evidence for things like taurine in this context.

Beta Alanine, creatine, caffeine. All quite scientifically proven

D'oh, you are right. I glossed over those when reading the ingredient list.

It's uncertain if they're there in quantities that are useful for most athletes, but in fact there is some scientific evidence for usefulness of those things in workout supplements.

Sorry 'bout missing those before and thanks for calling this out.

Note the 12 pack 16oz has buy 2 get 1 free on a couple flavors that are already discounted, and the S&S coupon stacks.

Seems to work on Frozen Bombsicle and Starburst Cherry.

Total of 36 sixteen ounce cans for $37.59 + tax.

Deal thread...

Also I would not recommend this as a normal energy drink. It is a "pre-workout" type with beta-alanine. Use before rigorous physical activity for increased muscle endurance.
