List something about yourself that others might find surprising

The title says it all. List something about yourself that other SDers would find surprising. It must be a real thing about you.

For an example:
Iconian could say he once wrote a sentence that was grammatically correct and all the words were spelled correctly.

If that were a true statement, I would find it surprising. laugh out loud

I'll go first...

I have flown a plane.

PS...I know how to pick an elevator. Ninja
I usually just give each elevator a squeeze to see how ripe it is. Am I doing it wrong?

I'm actually a fairly nice person in real life. I work on the social service field, I stop for people in cross walks, and I donate to cancer and kid charities.

I have another one....Some of you might remember this....

I've actually held in my hands a real Academy Award (OSCAR). I had to put on white gloves to handle it and had to walk it down the red carpet. I wonder who ended up receiving that OSCAR. Scratchchin

I've skinny dipped in the pool/grotto of the Playboy Mansion a few times.

Wow, looking back, I guess I haven't lead the most exciting life. laugh out loud

I was the GM of a movie theater 2 months after graduating High School.

I (used to) walk and talk in my sleep (haven't caught myself doing it in a while). One time I re-arranged my mom's entire dining room while sleeping. Dunno why. LMAO

Not long after buying my first car, I raced my new 1987 Nissan Pulsar NX (laugh out loud) against a friend's Honda Accord. We drove up a hill on a narrow residential street. I insisted he drive on the left side (oncoming traffic lane) and I took the right lane. We hit over 50 mph (he stayed in 1st gear; I shifted into 2nd) in an area where we should have been going about 15.

It was either that, or the time I hit 133 mph on I-15 outside of Las Vegas (and made the 90 mile drive from Vegas to Mesquite in 45 minutes), that was the dumbest thing I've done driving.

Being ticketed for drag racing isn't all it's cracked up to be.
