List something about yourself that others might find surprising

The title says it all. List something about yourself that other SDers would find surprising. It must be a real thing about you.

For an example:
Iconian could say he once wrote a sentence that was grammatically correct and all the words were spelled correctly.

If that were a true statement, I would find it surprising. laugh out loud

I'll go first...

I have flown a plane.

I almost joined the military, but didn't out of spite since my girlfriend thought I was going to. She just "knew" I would. Then I dumped her.

I am deeply interested in the Paranormal. I would give anything to join up with Jay and Grant from Ghost Hunters and explore "haunted" places with them. The closest I got was going on a Haunted Lighthouse tour which was boring and stupid.

Don't join their team. They always get made fun of on The Soup. I would hate to see you on that show because then I would be laughing at you, and that would make me sad, but it wouldn't stop me.

I did join the military after high school.

I can argue myself out of buying something by understanding if I need it or just want it.

I only have two jeans that I'll wear for work. I have about 3 more that I'll wear for yardwork or home construction that have holes in them. I only own 5 total.

...trying to envision Max in lime green or zebra strip.... Nono

I'm not a bright color person myself so I feel your pain. Mom tried to put me in this burnt orange shirt once. She loved it and I was like...wtf are you thinking! laugh out loud

I once interviewed with the Air Force. I took a test in high school and apparently did well on the coding part, not so much on the engineering part, so they wanted me for that. I wanted engineering, so I didn't go.
I *almost* interned for the CIA, but they couldn't get a hold of me to fly me in to D.C. for the required tests laugh out loud
Because that happened, I went to a different internship and met my now husband heart

So, like Stimpy, you wear pants "most" of the time? What do you wear when you run out of pants? Girly

I never run out. I'll just keep wearing the same pair until they either look or smell unclean, then I'll wash them. That's when I switch to the other pair. And since I bought two of the same style, no one would ever know! No one except the entire SD community that is.
