Is this a reposts? Sure.
Is this still an amazing deal? Absolutely.
So if this helps more people get a cheap PS5 controller then I have no problem with it.

I confirmed three stores in my area had some (purchased some). I performed a search for PS5 Controller (and $34) and no results came up.

Yes, the $49 sales have been going on, but those are different.

Like a previous comment, I also did a best buy in store price match last week, for a black controller and gray camoflauge controller, even though the latter was out of stock at my local Sams a couple minutes away from Best Buy. YMMV as the cashier requested manager approval first.

Are all these "sales" a direct result of MS acquiring Activsion? Or did Sony just happen to get thousands of PS5s and accessories in stock.

Sony has a little momentum in the market place right now. They are adding fuel to the fire with these price drops. Also clearing old stock for the new model that's inbound.
Also the more they can offload before the holidays the better.

Funny how online said $34 but out of stock at my local place. When I got there today, they have plenty in stock yet they said they don't price match their own website. SMH

When I got mine in store the tag had msrp but when I scanned it it rang up at $34.

nope couldnt get a price match since it says they wont price match out of stock item. i am 100% sure its YMMV but i tried.

They didn't price match due to out of stock by the way. I got the camo controller in case anyone wants to know.
i got 10 off each plus my redcard so i was 2.50 off on each but they did it to the 2 different colors and black one i ordered

These controllers are garbage. They ALL get stuck drift after a short period. I have like 9 and they ALL have stick drift. Just buy a Dual Sense Edge Wireless. At least if you get stick drift you can buy a replacement piece instead of buying a new controller because the controller is modular and it does a lot more than a regular controller
