Don't have the greatest reviews on the finish holding up but for $20 for a solid mixing bowl set I'll give them a try, thanks

Why does a mixing bowl not designed to be placed on heat need to be copper clad?

The copper clad (like half of the knockoff copper clad cookware out there) is purely aesthetic in this case.
Since its not any more expensive than basic stainless bowls, Im not complaining.

Not sure if you saw a heat restriction on this as I couldn't find one, but copper is an excellent conductor and bowls like this are great for double boiling to melt chocolate, for example.

That said, note these do say hand wash only (as with most copper cookware), not sure if the added copper cladding is worth the hassle when a stainless bowl can accomplish the same thing (albeit, a bit slower). I'm on the fence about this one...

Is it even real copper? I do enjoy their $153.99 retail price tho...LMAO

No one has these for sale, they have been discontinued everywhere except ebay that I could see. For $20 if you need a set maybe?

You can just melt that copper off, sell it, bring your cost down to 19.98.
there are way better bowl sets, most with more bowls, all with less copper paint, some with pretty colored tops or bottoms, for $20 or less.
this is not a slick deal, regardless of whatever MSRP

Real copper tends to tarnish quickly after cooking.. bring the finish back quickly and easily with Barkeeper's Friend.

I think those are what I have. But if you just search it on Amazon, you can get wider or taller, more or less, colored, etc

My bowls came. The copper seems to be heavily scratched at the factory on all the bowls. Looks like I got sold factory errors.
