Not a stupid question at all. The Jr is smaller than the big-body Gretsch guitars, but it is still a normal size guitar. It's not small at all, just not as big as the traditional Gretsch look
1st Gretsch I bough and boy does it give my Gibson, Fender, Charvel, Jackson and Ibanez to think about. These humbuckers are super creamy yet articulate. Cannot stress on the build quality enough. Look at the p90 as well. If all you have is humbuckers and single coils then I would go for the P90s for 30 more.

I apologize in advance if this is stupid question... But does Jr mean this is a smaller-sized guitar?

A general question...
My daughter wants to go into guitar is this great for beginners?
Also, should I get a tutor or she can learn on her own through YouTube videos and all.
She doesn't want to be professional, it's just a small hobby to destress at times or during breaks from study.

This would be a great guitar for a beginner, but I would be sure to get your daughter's opinion of the look of it first. The quality of these guitars is great, but you'll probably want to take it to a shop for a professional setup to get it in its best playing condition (this involves a lot of adjustments and tweaks that a beginner might not know how to do or even know what to look for).
As for the lessons, there are a lot of good resources on YouTube, but those lack the ability to provide feedback while learning. I would recommend getting some in person lessons to start. I've been playing for 25+ years and my biggest regret is that I never took lessons- I developed bad habits along the way and never had anyone tell me what I was doing wrong. Not that it has hindered my enjoyment of playing, but I feel stunted in my abilities because I didn't put more effort into learning early on...
Good luck on the decisions, but I think this is a great starting guitar and plan for your daughter!

What's the difference between Gretsch G2655 Streamliner Center Block Jr. Double-Cut (this) and the P90 linked earlier in comments for 30$ more. I was wanting to buy it a gift for a 9-year-old that's playing guitar acoustic and he's learning and wanting to move up to electronic. I was also eyeing the Gretchen Big Rod or Rot but that's around 500.. What's the Amp that's good pair with this.

The only difference in this model versus the P90 version is the pickups. This model has the Broadtron pickups, which are traditional humbucker style pickups, while P90 model features P90 pickups. Neither is better or worse, they're just different in the general sound profile.
If looking at the Rat Rod model, they are great as well, but probably unnecessary for a first electric guitar for a 9 year old. If you have the budget and really want it then go for it, but these Streamliner guitars are really good (not just "good enough", but actually really good guitars).

How old is she? For smaller hands I'd recommend something like the Grestch Jim Dandy Parlor. If she's concerned about image, you might want to check out the Squier Sonic series. Just the looks alone might inspire her to play. I don't know very many younger types who'd like this particular guitar. I'd probably pass on this one for her.

She is 12, I guess, I will pass on it, and look for something more attractive as you made a good point.
