Why is it a big deal for a "G" processor to be used (but not utilized)? As far as I know there is no downside or is the CPU on the non-G model 5700's faster? Perhaps I have missed something.
BTW, this does seem like a very solid deal and one I might buy before the day is out. Thanks for posting! I have been on the fence regarding a budget gaming desktop or going more expensive similar performance laptop but with touch screen.

We don't have a home PC for steam and some VR. My 12 year old is dying for a gaming PC.
We would also want to be able to use the meta 2 with it.
Should I buy now and ask wife forgiveness later, or just hold out for Christmas deals?
