Looks like there are some deals to be had. Just be careful and cross-check against current steam prices. I saw a ski-jumping game at the bottom of their page "on sale" for $10, but it's only $4.99 on steam right now. Probably like that for others in the list as well. Good luck!

I'm debating on either Skyrim or Fallout. I love both series...thoughts?
If you like the regular version of Skyrim, you will probably really appreciate being immersed in Skyrim VR. I mostly see people saying you "need" lots of popular mods to make it great, but I think it is still really cool without mods. But know that there are also tons of mods available to make it even better.

Both are awesome if you've got a good enough gpu to run them without reprojection. I'm a bigger fan of fallout so I played it a ton. There's nothing like a deathclaw charging you in vr. 😅
Will quest 2 headset work for these, if not, what headset do you recommend? I'm trying to get into better VR games.
I think you can use a quest 2 but you need a separate app, but I believe there's an official quest 2 app. Also you'll obviously need a decent gaming PC.

Steam vr will recognize quest 2 but you need to have a supported graphic card and connect it with a usb c cable. You can play it over wifi in theory but subject to latency issues.

I'm guessing there's a list for supported graphics cards? Thanks

You don't need an app if you are OK being "tethered" I have a long USB 3 -> c cable I paid 12 bux or so from Amazon which serves to keep the quest 2 charged and allows me to run steam vr too. The app allows you to run over Wi-Fi (you need a good Wi-Fi router/signal to do this without issues)

I have skyrim vr. It is amazing being in the game in vr, the dragon attack opening is just an insane way to get introduced to vr skyrim, I highly recommend. I will say that I had to stop playing alot of it as I was feeling sick and getting headaches from playing extended sessions of it in vr. This was worse for me when compared to something like trover saves the universe or similar. I don't have a good reason why that should be, but that was the experience I had with it(hasn't stopped me playing it from time to time though)
The one is $2 off the steam price, and the other is $7 off. Both are nice (but small) discounts. Comparing to the original list price of $60 is a bit silly.

It sounds like you might have been experiencing framerate drops. Try turning on the performance data (how you do that depends on which runtime you're using) to see if it's frequently below the target and / or reprojecting frames. It may not be immediately obvious that's what it's doing but boy can it cause some VR motion sickness. For me it was really obvious in MS Flight Sim - especially glancing out of the side of the plane. Once I moved to a 6800XT and fiddled with a few of the settings, I could keep 60 fps much more steadily, and man what a difference.
