Huge Scott 1000 to fan, but these paper towels are the worst. Roll lasts like 3 usages, absolutely pathetic

1 ply is good if you have septic and don't want to pump it for a very long time.

I am frugal....sure call me cheap. I'll even take care of business at work on the clock before going home to stick it to the man. But I will NOT use Scott paper products... especially Scott 1000 1 ply TP. Kmart was going out of business and I bought a few cases of Scott 1000 (before even using this brand) because they were a good deal. Now I think they are up in my attic....sigh.

You could also donate them to shelters. They could always use more TP.

Note that the rolls are now much thinner, less paper per roll. It even says 6=7 rolls. I have a package from some time ago, that says 6 = 9 rolls, and the package/rolls are visibly bigger. So, they have shrunk these a lot, but still giving you the same deal as they have in the past. This "shrinkflation" phenomenon is across the board including in some dollar tree items.

Scott 1000 is the best, not sure why you don't like it.

You may belong to the group of what we call "ass coddlers" who prefer a giant was of cotton and a lack of ability to tell of your even wiping your butt Smilie

The 1.25 coupon disappeared when I logged in, only the two 1.00 are showing and applied. Bummer. These are way different from the 1ply 1000 imo. I don't mind cheap paper towels. I pony up for Viva when I need better ones.

I know people usually go by price per sheet, but I started weighing rolls out of curiosity since that will give you an idea of how much wood went into each roll.

These are 2.2oz. In comparison, Costco rolls are 7.05oz. So 3.2 of these rolls equal a roll of Kirkland. You can do the math from there. These aren't really that great of a deal and they take up way more space
