Was about to pounce on this but no integrated graphics is a bummer for non-gamer like myself.

It looks like they also have the gpu with onboard graphics for a similar price. Its only slightly more expensive: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Co...bo.4559104

I got the 12600KF and MSI Z690 Pro with 64gb DDR4 and am very happy with the setup. Though I paid quiet a lot more last year.

Does installing an SSD into an M2 slots still disable SATA ports? last time i built a PC was 2015 and the M2 SSD i used made some SATA ports not work, want to make sure i have enough SATA ports for my HDD's.

Also, with 4 M.2 slots, can i use them to ad more sata ports if needed?

470-590s will do it. Still have driver support too. Should be able to get them for under 100.

I'm in the same boat. Not a gamer, but appreciate a solid rig built to last, especially if it can be done for a good value. A lot of comments say DDR5 isn't "there" yet, but I still am looking for a mobo that supports DDR5 so I can upgrade my modules when it is "there". Plus, I read people with a graphics card still may want to consider a k processor over kf because quicksync provides some added value. I was looking at a 12600k + MSI B760M DDR5 which would run $370 on its own at current prices. But this combo at $100 cheaper + 16gb of ram is very tempting. Curious if others have opinions if k to kf or DDR4 to DDR5 is worth the cost over this deal for the long run.

I'm pretty involved in the PC community and none of the motherbaords are the quality they used to be. MSI had a lot of DOAs with the Tomahawks, but seemly to mainly affect that series. The VRMs on their Z690/Z790 boards seems to run a little hotter than Gigabyte and Asus, but not to the point of concern. Gigabyte has had all sorts of issues with memory compatability (Z690/Z790, so bad that they repeatedly pulled BIOS updates from their website as each "fix" was worse than the last), cracking PCBs (graphics cards), pre-installed backdoors (motherboards), endless boot loops (motherboards), etc. Asus, despite their obscene pricing, has had lots of issues with stability and their support seems to be one of the worst around atm. Ultimately, I went for an MSI Z790 Edge. Do keep in mind that their PRO line is their lowest tier.
