May want to slap a "YMMV" in the title before the SD police chews your head off.

Always an interesting deal, other threads seem to suggest BB Open Box purchases are a bit of a crapshoot, with relatively low risk if you can vet thoroughly within the return timeframe. Overall this seems like a solid deal for the specs

I won't buy bestbuy Openbox even excellent. I bought 5 total in the last 6 months and all of them end up with being returned. The laptops are NOT new at all, while 3 of them has liquid and oil left on the laptop that can not even been cleaned. All of them smelled horrible with cigarettes or somewhat, blood??? My 2 years old laptop doesn't smell like that. One of the zephyrus m16 has things stuck in fan and all ssd covers missing.
Those people who returned these laptops really did horrible things on them and return for some reason. I hate these. I believe you guys would benefit even with buying used, because people don't usually treat their own property that garbage like treating others.

I've bought 5 days ago open-box excellent laptop. And it's in new condition, no smell no damage or dirt... So ymmv

If you go pick it up, open it up at the service desk take a look and return it on the spot. Best buy for all its suckage lately, is at least really good at returning purchases quickly and hassle free.

Anyone know the wattage of the 4070, pretty close to my jump point, under $1100 would be a instant buy for me.

Agreed it's very ymmv but I have been on the other side, both laptops were fair condition but ended up being brand new without a box
