Dannngggg, I'm sitting on a $950 i7-13700H + 120W 4060 Victus I picked up a few days ago before they sold out ( also came w/ a gaming headset ) that I'm in love with and which is astonishingly quiet even while gaming but the Alienwares are sooooooo freaking nice and that price is amazing.

I'd put it this way:
Lenovo
- Wins on value usually ( not in this case )
- Great screens if you spend more than say $1100
- Great performance and thermals generally
- Great keyboards ( though ugly fonts on them )

Aliewnare
- Better design and build quality
- Even better keyboards
- If they took the stupid alienware head logo off of these these and made 1-2 tweaks to make them look less gamery, these would be probably the most attractive laptops on the market
- Slightly less performance, not-as-great-thermals

I prefer the Alienwares myself, compromises accepting
