It only supports 250lbs though. Whether that includes the mattress is unclear. If it does, then it's not suitable for heavier men, or men who enjoy having sex (with another person).

I have a sleep number mattress on it. No squeaking. 😆 Wanted to retain the storage space underneath. Used to have a memory foam mattress on it, that was heavier.

Not much clearance. Add some bed risers and its easier to get on or off.

Dumb question, but would this work with a mattress that rolls up and is delivered in a box, like a Casper mattress? I don't think so, but would like to confirm.

Not a dumb question at all. Are you going to flip the mattress from time to time? If so, you may want to consider putting a flat board on top so it doesn't make a permanent indent on the mattress.

Do we know of any frames that support up to 4,700-4,900 pounds?

Does the mattress count in this measurement? If so, does anyone know of clearance frames that support 5,100-5,200 pounds? Preferably in brushed steel. Am on a budget, snack bill has increased tremendously this month.

Final question: can this bed be expanded in the future? Can frames be linked? How many?
