About Forspoken:- Forspoken is an action RPG that follows the journey of Frey, a young New Yorker transported to the beautiful and cruel land of Athia.
- In search of a way home, Frey must use her newfound magical abilities to traverse sprawling landscapes, battle monstrous creatures and defeat powerful matriarchs known as Tantas.
- Forspoken has been designed to harness the full power of the PlayStation 5's hardware, demonstrating Luminous Productions' (Final Fantasy XV) philosophy to provide a gaming experience like never before, fusing together the latest technology with creativity.
- Blending contemporary electronic beats with a fantasy tone, Forspoken's score has been composed by BAFTA award-winning composers Bear McCreary (God of War and TV series The Walking Dead) and Garry Schyman (Bioshock series).

However, they surrounded those bones with a tired story and filled it with the worst dialogue and character interactions you can imagine. I've never played a game with a worst protagonist than Frey. She's beyond unlikable - how Square Enix thought this would be a good idea is baffling. It also creates the cardinal error of mistaking mindless and repetitive side quests in as content vs. actually contributing to the story.
The product devs held up their end of the bargain - it was the creative minds behind the game that have no business being part of future titles.

The first hour or two are pretty brutal & unenjoyable. The main character is indeed unlikable.
Once you slog through the intro of the game the gameplay is pretty fun.
Story is very mediocre but overall it is worth a playthrough.
Just don't judge the whole game on the first hour or two.
