Are you sitting and spectating or skating? If you're skating, I would say you'd be fine. If you're only sitting it might depend.

Are you skating in the Fall/Winter? Or Spring/Summer? Inside or outside? Indoors, I will use a coat in Fall/Winter and a jacket like this in Spring/Summer. My kid would use this jacket all year, but she also does Hockey and just wears a t-shirt and thin pants under her gear.

This is for my kids and they go skating in a indoor Ice Rink, they just started a year ago so far using normal winter puff jackets. I was thinking it is a good time to change to something like this.

Ordered three of these for my two boys, unsure of the size. Went to pick them up last night and return the ones that didn't fit. She found my order, gave it to me. Then when I returned them (2 minutes later), they couldn't find my order, so took the return and gave me a refund at $60 each, as the sale had ended. Inadvertent come up!
