If you contact customer service they often do a one-time reinstatement, but I believe they are pretty tight about doing it more than one time. If you click the points link and/or use the codes you get from DMI semi-regularly your account will stay active as you only need to add or use points on a regular basis for the account to stay active.

Yeah, because it's utter shit and they finally listened to people. Don't pay fortune trying to fix broken app when you can just tell people go to the website.
