Buy 2. Keep it long enough so that the investment will pay for your toy. If that fails, go back in time and stop yourself from buying in the first place.

Once retired I could see this baby being $500-$600 easy in about 3 years, no?

There's an article that said something like some LEGO sets have appreciated better than gold.

You need 2 more to have all 3 builds at the same time. 😂

This is one of the lowest price its ever been across any online source. Back in November 2022, the price hit as low as $150 on Zavvi.

$160 for this set is very good. Chances of it going lower than this is unlikely.

For comparison, the Ghostbusters ICONS Lego (https://www.lego.com/en-us/produc...to-1-10274) came out two years prior and still hasn't been announced as retired.

Desirable non-exclusive sets usually go for 2x MSRP a year or two after retiring. This going to 500-600 in 3 years is really optimistic.

The smaller delorean set is only 4x MSRP and it was retired 9 years ago.

More time has passed between now and Back to the Future than when Back to the Future went back to the future. Damn, I feel old.

Brickeconomy is a great site for price trends, bricklink for buying, eBay for selling.
