The AMD version has a problem in that it's using one of the 5xxx G series APU's that only support PCIe 3.0, decreasing GPU performance by up to 20%. This also means that the M.2 SSD is slower for Direct Storage support in upcoming games. Thankfully the Intel Model is sporting a Micron PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD that is comparable to a Crucial P5 Plus with a better heatsink and is a reasonable 6400Read/5000Write for Direct Storage. Both of these PC's are using DDR4 which hurts a little but it's really just a few FPS difference from DDR5-4800.
These systems are restocked daily and for a starter Gaming PC the Intel model isn't that bad aside from the fact it only has one M.2 NVMe X4 slot and the drive is 512GB. It will be a little annoying but you can store older games on the slow 7200 RPM HDD. If the intel is OOS then check back tomorrow and they will probably have more. The AMD one is at an end of life period and should be avoided unless they discount it more.
i don't know if saving $80 is worth getting a refurb, that was probably sent back because it had issues in the first place

Whereas, buying new only gets the original QC off the line and might still have the problem that the refurbished unit did.
So, logically, it's actually worth it to get the refurb for an $80 savings.

as for the "reputable" part. the jury is still out on that. all they do is reinstall windows and ship it back out. don't believe me? read the negative reviews
$450 - 5600g/8gb/256gb/3060
Add another 1x8gb stick that goes for less than $18.
Again, the GPU is the bottleneck.

I rock a 12900 and a 12700 and have been quite happy with the lower power choices.
