Computer Note: The music apps (recording and practice ONLY?) Starting with more stuff! The easiest. Simply click to install many different music apps. Like drums. DAW. guitarix. Synths, etc...
Mine is a buyers research on the matter. A data download. Mainly the supportable facts (for you to verify; because anybody can write anything); but will include my ideas. It might be wrong; but correct is the goal. I am very open to subject correction and very much always learning. Greater advice is very welcome. As such and being technical; it is written well above an 8th grade level; but also sadly far less than 8th grade, with my grammar and writing skills. I'm a scientist, not an English teacher (Captain!) and I do apologize to all the English teachers out there. It takes time fixing errors and TRYING to be clear. I think you get the message however. Basically; I find great data posts in SD forums and try to give back some detailed research; that I am doing on products of great interest. Details get huge. Feel free to jump to the next comment.
One can make a career on the gear; but mostly it's about practice and so can perform live at various volumes (so a combo amp), and/or record too. That is the point.; whether hobby or more. Our "song". By voice or any instrument.
You have to admit; $202 MP 15W all tube combo, plus a $35 jam packed Cube Baby FX+ pedal is pretty damn cool!
I play drums [historically 1st], keyboard, guitar(s) and computer(LOL).
Computer Note: The music apps (recording and practice ONLY?) via the Mate version from LinuxMint.com Without having to remove Windows! Why not? Make a USB stick correctly and try it live boot for free; just to see it on your newest computer. Then decide to install it or not. Live boot Mint can not do everything. Read up on correcting Windows first; before installing Mint, auto-magically, for a trouble free, just 20m install. The dual, duel boot included. Starting with more stuff! The easiest. Simply click to install many different music apps. Like drums. DAW. guitarix. Synths, etc... Use one or the other at start up for a year or two; before judging. Why not have the BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. Zero $ to you, not trier limits, zero ad's, NOTHING to buy and with much more security. A long proven, unquestionable, HIGHER quality, dynamically always UPGRADING (each app and core system), by the very successful pre vetted and pre packaged(security and speed), shared programming, open software method. Do NOT surf without it. Lower your risk! The core is what you do want hacked! Got root(admin, superuser, OWNERSHIP rights)? Tired of the lock in BS? Get Mint. THE distro for starters. And BTW. Test wildly on a spare install. Keep one Mint Install as your main stable (not trying all) thing. Try all (with weird combinations, for learning) on a SEPARATE install; that you can trash and just reinstall. Do not reinstall to much; because you want you preferences to stick. Auto new Mint release upgrading is built-in! Your choice. Make your primary OS install the one you depend on. Stay with just Mate and one desktop user interface on your main install, with it's set of Mate themed OS environment applets for your MAIN stable install. Go crazy with your OTHER testing install, until it breaks. There are no stops. Your are in control. Responsibility tends to help. Because there are no training wheels. There is so much goodness and option; that you need a guide. Simply Mint + Mate is that answer. Read the site for more. It's the manual. There's NOTHING to lose. You can always try again or use the previous version for odd/bad hardware devices(you bought it). The drivers (device modules) are INCLUDED automatically! Even most device with BAD firmware have been worked around. Buy open firmware (Embedded driver software) in each new device only, or you don't really own it. Really.

For Mac's
They are a bit short for super tall folks so might need to raise them by whatever handy method you can think of.
People sell these used all the time on FB marketplace etc, since they get them then realize they dont ever use em (or their kids dont touch em). I got mine for about 150 used.
The expansion pack for a cymbal and tom is still only $60 there though. Seems like a really fair price for that.
