For a Sabrent 2230? This is a great price. Few months ago this was $150
It's a good price if you want this specific drive right now. However, you can get 2230 1TB drives for $60 (Solidigm P41 at NewEgg) to $70 (Micron 2400 at CDW) that will perform essentially the same in a Steam Deck.
For a laptop drive, spending more for a TLC drive (the Sabrent) could make sense for some use cases.
Prices have been dropping rapidly recently, so it's also not such a good deal you'd want to buy for a future need.
P41 Plus 2230 was $54.99 on 23rd now back to $59.99

yep paid that for it for my steam deck. zero issues and didn't mind paying the extra tho i knew i should of waited and just had the SD card as it was definitely going to go down pretty fast

I couldn't wait and picked one up off ebay a couple months ago. Now my deck has 3tb of space.
My Deck was running out of space all the time with the 256GB model. Now I have the ROG Ally and it has more space but already getting close to being filled u0
