They ran this promo back in May and I missed the offer. I believe this is the one of the best, if not the best bonus offer for this specific card.

They expire 12 months from the time you get the free nights. I got them in my account from last bonus on 8/4/23 and they expire 8/4/24
recommend looking places you want to go first, then decide if the card is right for you.
It's hard to get a room at a decent property domestically for 50k. Handful of real options.
wow.. how many points do you guys have to think that 50K night certificates are hard to redeem... Five 50K certificates is hands down better than 100K points... I'm having a hard time figuring out why 100K pts would be better unless you ONLY stay at Ritz Carltons or All Inclusives for 1 night.
A typical free night certificate from most credit cards is only 35K pts/night. 50K/night certificates, and they give you five is pretty amazing...

I'm not sure how some people are having a good experience with this card. They only allow you to use up to 15k in points on top of the free night certificates for free nights. If the hotel charges more than 65k you are sol and need to pay in cash for those nights, which limits most of not all the nicer hotels. If you see yourself accumulating a ton of points with purchases and enjoy traveling then maybe consider this card. If you are considering just for the 5 night bonus certificates, probably isn't a good idea unless you like cheap hotels lol. Bye
"Cheap hotels"? I pulled up a search for next week in DC, and you can stay at either the Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis or JW Marriott for 57,000 points/night (and these certs allow you to add points up to 65k/night). Virtually everything else is well under 50k.
When it comes to searching for rates, some people must be either lazy, or incompetent. Are you going to be able to stay at a 5-star resort on the busiest week of the year? Of course not. But the amount of complaining about how these certs 'aren't usable' is ridiculous.
What is this "15 Elite Night Credits each calendar year."?
It means you get 15 night credits toward Bonvoy Elite status levels every year. So instead of needing to stay 25 nights in a year to get Gold Elite status, you only need to stay 10 nights with this card.
Has anyone done this... clicked on the link from your own chase account offering 40,000 points for a referral but only for 3 certificates for the applicant... then clicked on the link offering 5 certificates and inserted your "guest number" from the referral into the 5 night offer?
The end goal would be to get the referral points as well as having the applicant get 5 certificates. Just wondering if anyone has done this... and if it would work.

Does anyone have both one of the Chase cards and a business card? That combo is the only one that allows the cardholder to get both annual elite night credits.
That is not correct- You can get elite nights from one personal and one business card, but they don't both need to be from Chase...
The "best" combo (if the cards otherwise make sense for you) is the Amex Brilliant personal card (25 elite nights a year) and the Chase business card (15 elite nights)
That puts you at 40 to start the year, so just 10 nights (certs, points, and cash all count) gets you organic plat status with a choice benefit (the default plat status from the Amex card does NOT get you a choice benefit)

See above. You get that many nights credit toward elite status- as if you'd stayed that many nights already each year.

I didn't say what you implied. Anyway, do you have both? I'd like to hear first hand from someone that has done this rather than rumor.
I got this card last year when they had this same bonus and it was amazing.
You can top off with points, up to 15,000 per certificate.
I transferred 20,000 points from chase (not the best redemption I know), and bought 5,000 points from Marriott during a point sale, and used these to stay at 5 star hotels in London and Paris. I think the cash value of the hotels was about $3,000 total for 5 nights. Less my transfer value and purchase of points, I saved at least $2,500.
As an experienced Bonvoy and former SPG (miss them) card holder I almost bit on this new card as I read this as 250k points which would be of value adding tom my portfolio having 1.25 million in my Bonvoy kitty.
TBH this deal isn't worth it for just certificates unless you can specifically target a stay that is a hotel at 50k a night or less which isn't many. These types of certificates are great for a night ouit, a weekend traveling at for example a business hotel. Resorts are way more expensive and you cannot apply these towards a stay where the room is say 60k a night (or more), the intention is only their lower hotels or better ones in sketchy areas. If they could make the certificates apply towards up to 50k or higher then there would be value. My .02

Prob wont work. U may get stuck with the lower offer.

I already got this offer last time so am planning to open one under wife's name. Does anyone know if there would be an issue if I enter my own Bonvoy# on the application or if that would be a problem since I got the offer with the same Bonvoy# from before? FYI, I still have a Chase Bonvoy card under my name linked to my Bonvoy#. Thanks!
How fast can you churn thru chase cards? I applied for the world of Hyatt last month and hit the minimum spend already
Chase is the 2nd hardest. The rule is something like 5/24 Being they'll auto deny you if you got approved for 5 cards in the last 24 month period from any lender.
Also i'd wait for a original good bonus or better. The original back in the day was 150K points. This one is 5 -50K certificates but to be honest certificates on Marriott are a pain the ass to use vs raw points.
