SD should not support these merchants
I tried these at least twice with multiple vehicles. It is just unreliable. Starts working ok and over time develops connectivity issues and you end up spending a lot more time troubleshooting it. If you could get it on Amazon at least you can return within 30 days and you will have a chance to test it before you decide to keep it. Not sure about miniinthebox. Overall, I wish I could trade in my time spent to fix this thing and spend it just plugging and unplugging my phone.

The issue is additional drain to your phone's battery, e.g. auto connecting when phone battery is already low could be an issue. There's also a bit of stuttering between initial connection but should be connected before a minute.
