Edit: Wohoo!! I managed to get best buy to price match it. It took 3-4 hours chatting with different representatives until one finally budged and gave me the price match of $512! Funny thing is I almost gave up before the last rep said they'd match it. Out of stock in my local town so I drove an hour away to a neighbor state to pick it up. My advice to anyone: keep asking new best buy chat reps. Don't get discouraged. Persistence is key. Good luck!

Little Rock store had two at $599. Grabbed one! Wow. Can't believe I managed to find one. Also came with the extended 5-year Allstate warranty. Major score. Thanks to whoever informed us about the in-store price drop on Labor Day!!!

We bought the display last week and it came with the 90 day return window and the free 5 year Allstate warranty. Doubt burn in is an issue because they don't sit in the store with static images 24/7. however if it's a concern, bring it up with the manager or ask to see the number of hours that TV's been on. It's in the settings and will likely be over 3000 hours which is a potential negotiating point.

Grabbed the last BNIB 65" C2 that was still sitting there from last week, price was still marked at 1599.97 but I got it for $900 + tax (there was some glitch about it being 1000 with a further 100 off, but the manager just adjusted the price manually to 900).

The floor sales guy got really angry and short with me for asking for a price check, but the manager was able to help me out without a problem. Now I'm wondering if there's going to be a further price drop and if/how I can price match it even lower…

Where at / what store? I feel the warranty is a good deal for the price. I've had my CX since Aug 2020. Panel was great until about a month ago I noticed a dead pixel. Did a once-over with RGB/White on full screen and noticed a ton of dead pixels randomly all over the edges. Warranty came in clutch in this aspect.

I do color correction for TV / movies and the panel has to be near perfect or my clients don't trust wha they're seeing.
