So, I just searched the internet for more than two reviews on this kayak. What I found was that they are non-existent. This doesn't mean this is a bad kayak. However, be careful. The shape the kayak is not normal for a fishing setup. The weight is going to make to tough for throwing on your roof racks (although normal for a solid kayak, but you can't stand in this one) And, it's hard to say what the quality will be.
All that said, I bought the Pelican Mustang 100x about two year ago for the same price. I haven't looked back. Weight is 39lbs, tracks well, and has lots of room in be back for fishing gear. Easy to customize as well. I've caught sooo many great fish in it and never hoped for more. The simplicity is attractive.
If you're looking for a throw on the roof of your car fishing kayak, maybe wait for the mustang to go on sale again for $299.
I'd you're looking for a heavier more stable and likely to track better kayak, buy this one. Ira really up to what you want for ease. I just love the super light easy to maneuver Mustang.

Nice kayak, but curious why the weight capacity is so low for a 12' kayak (275 lbs). Using the 75% rule, the real weight capacity would be around 200lbs including gear which wouldn't be an option for me unless the listed weight limit is an error. The Blade 120 listing showed 300 lbs but the tag on the kayak's label shows a 400 lb limit, so this one may actually have a higher weight limit.
Looks very similar to the design of the Blade 120, but adds some nice gear tracks that mine doesn't have.

I, too got the Field and Stream Blade in the spring. Any of these 12 ft kayaks at this price are a steal. Track much better than the 10 footers you normally see at this price.

That 275 lb max weight limit is a deal breaker. Was hoping a Field and Stream kayak would pop up with free to store shipping.
If anyone gets one, it would be interesting to see the actual label. 275 seems too low for any fishing kayak.
Someone said it had a very sharp bow, so performance over form. that might be the issue, but for a fishing kayak, man I want a little more buoyancy. I'm 230 lbs, tackle box alone probably 10 lb.

Quick heads up for anyone who is interested. I'm buying this literally right now as I stand in line. I was made aware that you have a 24-hour return policy for Dick's Sporting Goods in regards to kayaks. Also, they cannot be put in the water. He agreed with me, how would they ever know,. Either way you have 24 hours to return
