I just looked at the Harbor Freight gloves that I've used for 8 years [harborfreight.com] and just ran out of - for comparison the Harbor Freight gloves are 5 mil, and they work fine for garage work. They will tear fairly easily, so these in the deal are 4 mil, which is even thinner.

Get the harbor freight 5 mils for lightweight garage work (Changing your oil, cleaning up, etc). And then the HF 7 or 9 mils for heavier duty garage work (brake work, replacing components, etc).

These 4 Mils are fine for applying chemicals around the house, applying medications/creams etc.

Ended up going for them. If I develop any health issues that I suspect are related to this in the next 50 years I'll be sure to log back in and post a warning.

Interestingly, the 400 count has the lowest price per glove.

Good deal but pretty thin gloves will probably tear easily.

I bought these the last time. They work fine for light yard work and cleaning. I used them for a simple oil change on the car they ripped.

Wouldnt recommend for garage or car shop work. Rips easily when using hand tools. These work okay for general no aggressive tasks around the house.

Bummer, just bought a 200 pack of Member's Mark nitrile gloves at Sam's Club for $9.98, I think they might be 4mm gloves but they hold up fine for light duty things.

https://www.samsclub.com/p/member..._product_1

They also have some medium-duty gloves, 300 for $13.98. Not sure of thickness.

Are these food safe? (Cutting jalapenos, applying rub to a brisket, etc)

They don't explicitly say "Food safe", but the description does mention cooking as a use case. Should be fine
