This is, hands down, the best TV Streaming box on the market. If you hate Apple and their products, make this your one exception. It just works so much better then almost every other streaming box/stick/interface out there.

What the Costco online support wrote in regards to backorders on the Apple TV 4k. For reference my original eta was August 25th.

Yeah, the UI is just so much more responsive than anything else I've used. Even my old Apple TV HD from 2015 that I only use in the bedroom still runs great, gets regular software updates, and is mostly pretty responsive.

I've been using Roku Ultra for several years and recently replaced it with Apple TV 4K. I"m not sure I'd agree "hands down" Apple TV 4K is better, but do agree it is at least as good. I made the change to Apple TV 4K in order to run Channels DVR which doesn't support Roku.

Is this the latest model? What's the difference with this one versus the one I have? The model I have has the touchpad type remote (not sure if it's 1st gen)

Totally agree as someone who has all apple products and enjoys them, but also tried every iteration of fire stick, 4K pendant, google TV chromecast, nothing compares to the Apple TV in reliability and smoothness.

Looks like a great deal! I got the 2021 model last summer, and it's been awesome.

I'm usually an Android user, and have both an Nvidia Shield and Chromecast with Google TV. The ATV 4k is the only Apple product I own, and I love it.

It's nice but directional pad on the remote occasionally makes me want to throw it through my screen.
