This is, hands down, the best TV Streaming box on the market. If you hate Apple and their products, make this your one exception. It just works so much better then almost every other streaming box/stick/interface out there.

What the Costco online support wrote in regards to backorders on the Apple TV 4k. For reference my original eta was August 25th.

I was able to order around 345pm est yesterday. Restocking happens sporadically it appears. Mobile app, just had the catalog open on the atv 128 on the page and tried to a couple times throughout the day. I did put my card in the app to make completing the order easier.

You should have said, "aren't most sale items limited time deals." It probably would not have helped, but their reasoning made no sense.

Surprisingly the rep came back and said they can't price match but offered me $25 one-time discount. I countered by requesting a $50 one-time discount (equal to the price match) and they approved... Interested giving me the work-around but worked out for me in the end

Your maneuver worked better than my suggestion would have. Glad you got it. My Apple TV from Costco is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, but hasn't shipped yet. Hopefully I won't regret not going the Target route.

Would recommend get price match and order with Costco order as a backup.. if the offer ends would loose both..

I got my target order delivered today, the packaging looks like a old stock (haven't opened it yet)
