All of them or specifically the magsafe ones? Really like the concept of a magsafe portable charger but was concerned with heating. My phone gets hot on a normal qi charger so i imagine this is even worse

I have the magsafe and it works fine with both an iPhone 14 and a pixel 7. Yes it gets hot but hasn't shut off on me as of yet but I don't use it for more the 20-30 mins at a time.

Just went looking and found a comparable deal for an Anker portable magsafe charger.

Mine shows a 30% coupon, making the price about $21 as well. It's only 5,000mah compared to this baseus unit which is 6,000mah but I feel like Anker is a more trusted name.

yeah I'm referring to the magsafe ones. constantly have overheating issues. returned it and the replacement does the same thing. iphone 14 pro max

Just as an fyi, wireless charging, well any transfer/conversion of power generally has efficiency losses. Wireless charging can use as much as 75% more energy for the same amount of charge you would get via a cable and is the most inefficient way to charge. The two conversions from wired to wireless from the charger then wireless back to wired in the phone each generate conversion losses that are significantly greater than direct wired (to be clear, there's still conversion losses here, just much less.) So I can see this making sense on, say a night stand charger plugged into utility for convenience. But when using a portable battery pack I would imagine people want to squeeze every charging percent out of their battery.

I'd rather not have a cable even if it came with more battery capacity.

Yep, wasn't suggesting you don't wireless charge, just wanted to put that out there for those who might not be aware. And in fairness wireless charging saved my butt when my charge port broke until the replacement phone could arrive.

I've bought MagSafe and non MagSafe.
MagSafe is a good technology but seems slower on power banks plus the heating issue. I preferred this one.

Your opinion. As invalid it is. Brand name doesn't mean good quality. I've had Anker fail on me paying higher prices with less quality control. Customer service wasn't stellar and found their marketing materials actually to be false. But to each their own. Too bad people believe what they read what companies advertise true or false

The 65w bank is excellent. Only thing I've found that rivals the elecjet powerpie. It's actually better I believe. The pd port will charge low power devices, that's something the powerpie fails at.

Definitely. I tried wireless charging once when it cam out an never looked back. Such a waste. I would have to sit it down an let it charge for like 6 hours I bet. If I need a battery it's cause I'm using my device; an then it wouldn't even charge an just die due to poor power. .

Even just having bluetooth /gps/wifi/data on at the same time it would probably die rather than charge up. Probably would blow up a motorola device as hot as they get an dead slow as they already are. But on the upside. Motorola devices won't let you use bluetooth /gps/wifi all at the same time. So maybe it's a safety feature so it doesn't blow up
