Thanks!

Just went looking and found a comparable deal for an Anker portable magsafe charger.

Mine shows a 30% coupon, making the price about $21 as well. It's only 5,000mah compared to this baseus unit which is 6,000mah but I feel like Anker is a more trusted name.

I know I'm late to this reply, but I have the anker MagGo 5k charger, and it's not a good product for wireless recharge, the heat power loss is so great you may be able to recharge your phone by 60% tops, based on a 13 pro in my experience. I know it's more expensive but the 10k mah is better and only a bit thicker.

There is a marked difference between official Mfi certified MagSafe chargers and "MagSafe" compatible ones such as these. (Just check apples mfi site to see which one is certified)

Mfi certified MagSafes communicate between the iPhone and the power bank/charger to regulate heat, even if it's at the expense of speed.

Aside from this, the iPhone knows if it's on wireless charging if it's an official MagSafe accessory…it turns off any background tasks that might make the phone too hot (cloud syncing, internal system optimisations etc.) as opposed to non certified accessories that makes the phone think it is on wired mode…making it do the exact opposite on power saving and actually starts doing background tasks more heavily.

6000 wont charge any iphone. especially the 13 and 14 and pros and maxes.

buy 10000mah like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BKT7X...1_i_n&th=1 or anker brand 10000 mah.
Seriously. That's some bs. The iPhone 14 battery is 3279mAh. This can charge it fully

Good info! It's for this exact reason that I bought the official MagSafe battery from Apple to use on days when I would need it, like traveling in Athens and Munich this summer. I'd slap it on at the beginning of the day and it would slowly charge and keep the phone at 90%. On the blazing hot days in Athens battery would fall down to 60% at times because it was just too hot outside that the phone was already too hot to charge. But when we'd move indoors the charging would soon begin. The battery pack would eventually die in the afternoon but I'd still have 90% left most days, sometimes less if it was super hot outside. But I'd never have to worry about the battery overheating the phone and it would always give enough boost. At night just slap it on and plug in power. Both phone and pack charged to full, in that order, by morning. It's expensive and didn't want to shell out that money but the 14 pro is an expensive device so want to make sure it lasts a long time.

The Baseus is also PD 20w wired, Anker is 12-15 watts and not PD (Didn't check but what reviewers say).

Also not sure about Baseus but Anker says they limit the power bank so it doesn't fully charge to prolong the lifespan(Like expensive phones where you can limit the battery to charge up to 80%) so not only do you lose a chung in the convertion rate but also with this limitation!

I'm looking for an under 10k mAh bank with the highest pd wired charge that doesn't cost a liver

Yep, wasn't suggesting you don't wireless charge, just wanted to put that out there for those who might not be aware. And in fairness wireless charging saved my butt when my charge port broke until the replacement phone could arrive.
Wireless charging is great for charging your phone on your nightstand and you don't mind the power loss. I've had too many phones USB/Charging port fail that I prefer to charge nightly on a wireless pad (doesn't even really matter if it's fast charge etc). Haven't used magsafe, but it seems like a handy way to get the positioning down.

With portable chargers I prefer "Super Fast Charging" on my Samsung (45W and wicked fast if you are low), USB-PD for my laptop and Drone. Sadly I have to carry 2 power packs to meet those needs when extended traveling. I used some Samsung rewards from buying my phone to get the charger below (from Samsung/ not Amazon). We plug it in on the nightstand at our hotel, charge up both phones and the bank overnight (pass thru and wireless charging). Sadly, it's doesn't do USB-PD and fast charge my DJI Mini 3 pro batteries. Still waiting for a nicely built portable charger that does USB-PD 100W for my laptop and some type of good, fast charging spec on my S23U.

This charger is great for recent Samsung owners.

It may not fully charge a flagship phone the full 100%. It's the nature of wireless and even non-wireless portable power. Inefficiencies add up.

I have this one, the Anker 321 and have been using it during my business trips as of late. Like most of these chargers it's only 7.5w using the magsafe which is fine, think of this as more of a battery extender and not a charger. When attached it fits well in my pocket and has a good connection. It also does NOT overheat at all.

It also does well as a pass though charger. I use it to charge the phone and the battery pack at the same time.

Cons are that for whatever reason my airpod pros don't work with it and I tested the USB-c out and it only outputs at 12w.

The s23 doesn't have magsafe. No android has it built in. Case companies have added magsafe to their cases on a grander scale than before. I had it on my Note 20U case, and it worked fine for the most part.

Android phones aren't designed with magsafe in mind and their wireless charging coil might not be in the best spot to make all accessories work well.

Even now, the rings on cases are very inconsistent, and there is some margin for error, but not a lot. Some cases have the ring too high whee rectangular accessories interfere with the camera bump. My case sits it a little lower. It'll generally charge with most magsafe accessories, but every now and then I encounter something where it doesn't sit right.

That said, the Qi consortium is going to have their version finalized soon, so I imagine most new android phones will be designed with proper coil spacing to work with the accessories and no potential mismatch like you can have with magsafe ones.

That's great insight, thank you so much! I didn't realize it was just the case manufacturers I thought there had to be something embedded in the phone but it makes sense that it's just a magnet on the back That aligns it with the qi charger
