2.2 cents/gram of protein for at least one of the products. In my area, beans are half that. Natural peanut butter is more. Good deal imo!

I bought a vanilla one and it smelled like rottten grass. I had to mix it with other protein powders to improve the taste.

This brand was also found at one point to contain high levels of glyphosate. They *claim* that that's no longer true but wouldn't tell me what their current test results showed when I asked them. I just got a canned response linking me to a blurb on their website, not unlike the one BootyBoxer posted above. This company sure is having to put out a lot of fires!

I can't speak to the inclusion of heavy metals, etc, obviously, but I disagree with the complaints about taste. Vegan proteins almost always taste worse than their whey counterparts; that's just the way it is at present. But of the three from this sale that I have tried, two of them are good and 1 is ok. Protein and Greens is the best tasting of the three.

Again, vegan protein taste and texture takes getting used to if you're coming from whey and A LOT of vegan protein tastes really bad and/or has a very unpleasant texture. From my experience, of the ones I've tried from Vega, they are guilty of neither.

I like the taste, but *boy* are these protein shakes messy to make. The powder is sticky.

I don't really get what everyone is complaining about in here- most protein powders don't taste good to me. Most of them are messy and a pain to get to mix. The ones that aren't usually have more artificial flavors and ingredients. If you care about taste and texture you're missing the point of protein powder imo. These products aren't for enjoyment; they're for people who work out enough that you really need it to supplement your existing diet. I think American culture emphasizes protein to a sickening degree for audiences that have no need for additional supplementation and as a result protein products are reaching beyond their traditional audience who would probably snort it if it were effective.

These are some phenomenal prices, but the $50 minimum for free shipping combined with the short expiration dates kills it unless you're buying for a group. I can't drink 250 servings in one month.

Have only tried vega plant based vanilla. Had a terrible chemical rotten type smell. Forced myself to finish the tub by mixing it with other protein powders and only using it for pancakes/waffles batter
