900 is the better bar and sub. But you would need to buy rears separately.
990 and 900 are the same bar and sub but 900 doesn't have rears included. You can get the 9500 rears from Best Buy for $120. They are not as good as the rears from the 990 (which have 3 speakers each instead of 2) but they are better than the 9200 (which only have 1 each)

910 and 800 are same bar and sub but the 910 has 2 more speakers than the 800 and has the 9200 rears (smaller and no up firing compared to the 9500s)

Below are the specs from their user manuals on Samsung's site. The Q990C and Q900C show the same for the Bar and Sub. The Q910C and Q800C are almost identical with the only difference being the Q800C has 2 less 20 W in the bar output.

Bar Dimensions - 48.5 x 2.7 x 5.4 inches

Ceiling speakers are ideal but you can get Atmos sound with upfiring speakers. If you have two in the front and two behind you in a smaller room with a flat reflective ceiling you will hear Atmos sound.

Wow thats some great price! Thanks for the deal. Was looking to buy the Q990C at first but this will actually fit better without the rears, specially that its the same equpiment. Perkspot worked for me to get the discount and easily got another 10% off through the chat making it less than $500 after taxes!

I'm totally new the sound game. I have an LG C2 that I use a PS5 and Chromecast w/ that are in a small room approximately 15'x12' with the ceiling at about 8'. What direction would I want to go to get a worthwhile improvement in the sound department without spending an arm and leg?

Costco Q7CB (Costco Model Q700B) for $199.97 and Best Buy SWA9500s Wireless Rear Kit for $120.99

That is my current setup and I couldn't ask for more... even though I am hemming and hawwing about upgrading to this Q900C. But without an arm and a leg to give, the Q7CB + 9500s is great for $320

I have the exact same setup and living room size. I know absolutely nothing about audio, but I just bought this Q900C because I have no self control and cannot resist a deal. This will be my very first sound bar.

To validate questions about 990 and 900 (NOT 910), rtings tested both the 990c and the 900c and says they're the same

It comes with a wall-mount kit that allows you to hang it under your TV. BTW, I have this soundbar and it sounds incredible. Much better than the 800B that I had before.

Ah! Yes, that was my mistake. The 910c is indeed a 9.1.2, because the included 9100s rears do not have upfiring.

You are also correct that the 910c and 800c have the same dimensions; however the 910c DOES have 7 drivers. Hmm... so it must be a modified 800c, with the additional two side-firing drivers.

Yes, the subwoofer is definitely better on the 900. The 900 also allows you to add the 9500 as true-wireless surrounds (for $120). The 910 commits you to using the included wired surrounds.

The soundbar for the 800, 910, and 930 is 44" wide. The soundbar for the 900 and 990 is 48" wide. Not the same.
