Rescue services may be required. I just had my second external Seagate fail in the last year two days ago and have not been able to get anything off of it. Last time, I was getting errors and moved most stuff off before complete failure. This one just stopped working suddenly with zero warning. All attempts at repair have failed.

I have been using them as download drives for Utorrent. Anyone know if that is hard on the drives?

No more drives sold by Amazon, yes they are shipped from Amazon, but not sold by Amazon. So, no more coupons.
