Newly released Apple Beats by Dre - Beats Studio Pro. Great price from a Beats authorized retailer (Curacao) in America. https://www.beatsbydre.com/compan...-retailers
Lowest price by a large margin. No tax if bought outside California, Nevada or Arizona.
If buying two, then use promo code TY40 for an extra $40 off purchases $399 or more, bringing each set of headphones to $229.
$12.95 standard 3-5 day delivery if buying one or more of the same item.
I hadn't heard of the retailer icuracao.com before, but they have brick and mortar stores on the West Coast, and are an authorized retailer for Apple Beats by Dre, so figured it was worth the risk. Looks like online review of them are negative when using their financing services mainly.
all major retailers have these for 249 today. $100 drop in 1 month since release. wonder why?
Sales probably weren't up to par. The space is more competitive now. Still, I think they're probably trying to get more of these into people's hands to get the word out. I thought $249 was closer to market value, then noted that the Sony XM5 has a MSRP of $399.
That being said, I liked these a lot when I demoed them in an Apple Store. Nice punchy bass with plenty of clarity. It feels more up-to-date than AirPods Max, which did sound better overall, and at half the price. I would personally pick these over the XM5, but it's a shame that there's not more sensor toggles for Transparency Mode and for the headphones to play/pause/turn off.
I really don't need new headphones now, but I am slightly tempted at this price point.

Because besides the Beats brand name and the apple ecosystem compatibility, they don't really compare to the Sony XM5s for the same price.
