These machine comes with a default windows 11/10 but there is a software that comes with it, that you can see it under START UP services. I forgot the name but please make sure you reinstall windows.

I firmly believe that most people who buy a mini pc would be better served by something else. It's a rare situation that you have very limited space to place a processing unit. People go to strange lengths to make mini pcs work for them, but the problems they are solving have already been solved elsewhere. For instance, I see people who add external GPUs so they can play AAA games. Had they opted for a bigger form factor they could have just installed a graphics card directly on the motherboard. Instead they end up with a heap of electronic spaghetti and meatballs on their desk. It's like they can only think one move at a time.
I am sure 99% of users are not trying to add a EGPU to this. I have 4 notebooks, but guess what? Non of them would make a good server. This guy idles at 5-15 watts and has an extra space for a 2.5 drive. I got a worst version of this for my dad and he loves it as his daily machine attached to his 24 inch monitor
If you download the media and do the clean install it will NOT come up as having a valid license.
It's tied to the HW Bios and your MS windows account. I haven't bought a Windows License since Win 7, it just carries over, even with brand new builds.
N100 is better in every way.

Go over to Reddit r/minipcs and the bulk of the questions there are from people looking for a mini pc to do x, y, or z. Most of the time, x, y, or z would be better performed by a laptop or a larger form factor, but mini pcs are cute, and people can't resist cute. First thought - I want a mini pc. Second thought - can it do what I want.

I bought one of their Ryzen machines a few years ago, but it had a problem and I had to return it (I can't remember which one or what the problem was). I never bought another of those.
For all who are uninvolved, Debian Bookworm (latest version) takes care of all this.
The problem is not Linux. The problem is Intel and they are behind on providing the microcode to globally support their hardware. If Linus and team are provided microcode guidelines they patch kernels fast (nightly builds as you know).
The Eth port will be ok.
