Are these USB 2 or 3 speed or only for charging?

NM, found it on the desc.

As for the two adapters with two USB-A plugs, you can also expect a decent 1.5 A power discharge and a data transfer speed that's on par with the standard USB 2.0 protocol.

I bought the 2 pack for $3.90 and they work great. I just keep one in the Anker portable bank charger. It is a mini adapter. To my surprise with my Motorola G Stylus 5G 2022 phone, it went from "rapid charging" to "turbo charging". With my Samsung Galaxy A54 5G, it went from "charging" to "fast charging". This was surprising to me because I didn't expect that but it actually made the charging faster. It probably has to do with adapter and cable being different.

By the way, I have a large USB-A 3.0 cable to usb-c (Amazon Basics) and that made no difference in charging speed with my Anker portable bank charger or plug in charger. It has the blue part, has a larger usb-a and the cord is way thicker than 2.0 cords. It does transfer data much faster than 2.0.

I actually set my alarm to see if the "minutes remaining to fully charge" was correct when it said turbo charging and it was very close to it so it definitely delivered the turbo charging. I am talking about the adapter with the c to c cable.

Better Deal: 4 pack of identical adapters for $5.12 after 5% coupon and states 1GBPS data transfers vs the Basesailer claiming usb 2.0 (480mbps so less than 1/2 speed).

https://www.amazon.com/Temdan-USB...B0BMVHHT47

Spend the extra $0.28 per adapter to get 2X+ the speed AND higher charging amperage.

Thanks OP 👍. But man I had a hard time getting the discount code to apply. Anyone else notice they are making it more difficult to redeem discount codes?

I just noticed you have more steps than before to be able to input the discount code. I had to try and apply the coupon 3 times before it stuck and applied

You're welcome! Yeah, I've had trouble with that at times too. Sometimes it takes a couple tries before the code applies as valid. Not sure why that happens

misleading to say "thunderbolt" as no type A supports thunderbolt; these are standard usb 2.0, which is a shame for anyone looking for usb3.0, if for nothing but the faster charging speeds.

they look well-made though, at least, and a buck each shipped always makes me wonder how they make money (when the base first class commercial rate just went up to $4.20)

It's shipped by Amazon. If they don't find it cheaper to ship things with their own fleet they wouldn't have started it in the first place Smilie

And yes, USB 2.0 is the right expectation. I've gotten a 2.0 adapter when they say 3.0 (different brand, I skipped the review reading part and found out too late for a refund)

I actually have the thunderbolt usb-a to usb-c cord. It does exist. I have the Amazon Basics model. I posted the picture in the other post of the Amazon Basics model. See the blue part. Here is another model by Eaton. Amazon Basics model definitely does transfer files at much higher speed than the regular 2.0.

https://tripplite.eaton.com/usb-c...ot~U428006

I definitely see use for the usb-a male to usb-c female adapters and it actually greatly improved the charging speed with my motorola and samsung phones. The adapter and cord definitely made a difference. I don't see much use for the other 2 adapters because I have so many usb-c to usb-c cables unless I am transferring lot of large files from pc to phone. I guess the transfer speed would be greatly improved with the extra thick thunderbolt cables. Still need to use a 3.0 port though.

Scroll to the 3.0 usb-a port where it has 9 pin and the blue part.

I wonder if they are doing some A/B testing. I had to do some extra clicks to get to where I could enter the code. Never seen it like that before.
