They won't have any more. Stanley Black & Decker is closing their Texas facility that manufactured these. This is why some folks are interested in purchasing this set. I suppose for the collectability or nostalgia. Some folks will never open them and keep them sealed, I'm sure. I plan on picking up a set as I need one at work for general use.

I have a bunch of old made in USA Craftsman sockets, wrenches, and screwdrivers. Maybe it'a time to start selling them at a premium??

Six point sockets! To me, this is the main selling "point"! Perfect! Way better than 12 point. Better fit and less chance of stripping a worn or damaged bolt head. Much better for torquing down a bolt. The case is a nice. Perfect to have in the trunk as a basic JIC kit. Just add pliers.

My set is the big one with only hex sockets, only sockets, made in the USA. Before I close it, I account for every socket because it is truly the last of its kind. Was a slickdeal too. So far all the sockets are accounted for - and, they're the nice chrome ones kinda like a dark chrome shine to them looks expensive unlike every set I've seen since.

I have this. Rachet broke after dozen light duty uses. Since it's a set you can't walk in the store and exchange it. Called customer service at 2pm on a weekday. Sat on hold for 40 mins and got disconnected

I still have the craftsman tool sets from sears deals. One of my favorite deals was the 52" tool chest at $79-100 range with student discount.
