I'm afraid you have a fundamental misunderstanding of the article you posted. Collagens as a supplement aren't related to what this article is referring to, and I will also add that the research is talking about using collagen remapping to fight cancer. It does not, in any way, or form speak to or suggest that taking collagens as a supplement increase your risk of cancer. Cherry picking sentences out of an abstract is a lazy way to learn, and definitely not the way to teach.
I'm sorry but "doing your own research" when you have no idea what you're reading is not a good idea.
1) This is certainly NOT an NIH article. NIH has a search website that has almost all articles published anywhere (even the very low quality ones)
2) This article has exactly ZERO to do with cancer risk and INGESTING Collagen powder🙌
The study just shows how collagen is involved in the progression of cancer. It says nothing about collagen supplementation making cancer worse or increasing the risk of getting cancer. You are making huge assumptions and taking words out of context. If you are worried about it, fine, don't take it, but don't spread misinformation.

Any truth into the research that collagen feeds breast cancer? My wife won't take collagen anymore because she heard that.

Thank you for sharing this I did not know about this till I did some research.

You're concerns are definitely warranted based on the NIH article above.

Quoting the 5th point/sentence, of the Summary/Abstract in the white paper on collagen and it's effects on cancer, from the Department of Immunology/cancer research...

...->
Collagen CAN promote cancer cell growth and migration, but recent studies have shown that collagens can also affect the function and phenotype of various types of tumor-infiltrating immune cells such as tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) and T cells.

---
The above findings are from a 22-year study by not just one but three departments below! It's very presumptuous to discard a finding like this.

1National Center for Cancer Immune Therapy, Department of Oncology,
2Department of Science and Environment
3Department of Immunology and Microbiology,
