Costco has the Gram 17 on sale with an i7 1360p for $899. Well worth it buying from Costco for the easier 90 day returns, 2 year warranty, and and i7 for just $50 more.
Some say the Gram build is cheap, but I had the 14" and it was a joy to use. Obviously doesn't feel "premium" with all the plastic, but it was very well built and super super light.

LG Grams use a lightweight alloy and not plastic. They may feel like plastic because they are so light, but to me that is a huge plus as I am tired of heavy laptops.

No doubt. I ended up giving mine to my sis and "upgrading" to the Zenbook 14 that everyone was raving out... Kinda miss the 14 even with its 1080p screen lol
I bought this 17" from Buy Dig. I thought it would be made in S. Korea or at least Vietnam because it's LG which is a S. Korean company. Was very sad when I saw "Made in China". I am ok buying Chinese brands that are made in China but I don't like buying American brands or Japanese brands or Korean brands that are made in China because the Chinese will build their brands better.

The Chinese will build any brand better if that brand demands it. Most Apple products are built in China. Not sure why Vietnam would be any better than China. The only exceptions I'd say are Japan and Germany. Most things made in Japan and Germany are known for their high quality. Vietnam definitely doesn't fall in that category.
