    I replaced Cottonelle with Kirkland for a few years now. I don't remember if I bought Ultra Comfort or Clean, or if it was even around when I used it but Cottonelle is MUCH more plush and sturdy than Kirkland and practically every other 'standard' 2 ply TP. Charmin is another 'premium' TP on par with Cottonelle from my experience.

    I remember when I first treated myself to Cottonelle and wet wipes, I swore I'd never go back as long as it was financially viable. It's like a cloud running up (or down depending on how you wipe) your crack nod

    For what it's worth while I was researching the difference between Ultra Clean & Comfort, I decided I'm going to buy a bidet so I can stop using wet wipes and as much TP. There has not been one person I know that regretted the decision afterwards.

    Trying to decide if I want more of the Ultra Comfort or Clean.

    It really doesn't matter. They are both good quality, and get up in there where it's needed. I don't see much difference between the two, but the brand (Cottonelle) will tell you they are for different purposes. They do the same freaking thing. Get one of each and play it safe.

    I am confused. You just asked "I haven't used Cottonelle in a long time, is the Ultra Clean still more plush/thicker in feel than your average toilet paper like Kirkland etc?" In this post you say it is though?

    Sorry what I should've said was "I've been using Kirkland for a few years now. I used to buy Cottonelle years ago and loved it but don't know if it was Ultra Clean or Comfort, or if those 2 even existed back then because I don't remember or recognize the naming/packaging/design of this current one."

    From what I'm reading online of other people's experiences with both is that blue or Ultra Clean is preferred, especially for women. Purple/Comfort is more susceptible to breakdown and leave residue/lint. What some women called 'Coochie Confetti' or "Clitty Litter".

    I ended up buying a 32 and 24 pack of Ultra Clean since it should still be much more plush and tougher than the Kirkland TP my family and I have been using. Kirkland is still a great value imo, but with this deal I get to upgrade everyone's quality of life for a decent while Big Grin
