50ft outdoor flexible cord has been on clearance at Costco for $19.97 for months in my location. You may want to check your local Costco.

The fridge consumes about 30 watts of power. A 25' 12 gauge extension cord can support 2400 watts. Buy the length and size cord you need. It will cost you less and won't be a giant bright yellow coil of excess cable poking out from behind the fridge.

Need something longer. Is the 50 ft at $39 a good deal?

I know there are better deals per foot when buying the 50ft, but I've been wanting a shorter 12/3 cord like this for ease of use on the back deck, primarily for pressure washing, where I really only need like a 15-20ft extension. For $20, I think this will do. Tyvm op

I have a 7 cu ft mini fridge cord thats too short, could I use this extension cord rather than using a surge protector to reach the wall outlet?

This is waaaay more cable than you need, both in length and in gauge.

Is too much gauge a bad thing? The fridge will be constantly plugged in so I worry about that . Recommendations of what type I should get? My fridge is Frigidaire 7 cu ft from Walmart that gets posted fairly often on here

As the other person mentioned, they sell short appliance extension cords that are flat, grounded, and will minimize clutter. You don't want a big coil of energized wire sitting there for years where it might get damaged and pose a trip hazard.

A 4 ft appliance extension cord is like $5.

According to Triple Camel, this is the lowest price within $1 over the last 14 years, which seems crazy to me. I feel like there have been some deals that pop up at this length and gauge for ~$15.

No depending on your urgency. Around $0.33/ft is a good price for 12/3 cable. Recent FP deal was $32 for 100' cable.

Lower gauge is better. And no, lower gauge than you need is never a bad thing.
