FWIW, the 9500 may not be the same rears as the one's included in the 990c

EDIT: I looked at the pictures and the rears with the 990c have front-side-top firing drivers. 9500 don't have side firing drivers

Overall the 990c setup has more drivers (11.1.4) compared to 900c+9500 (7.1.2 + 2.0.2 = 9.1.4)

So I already used up my 10% coupon in a separate purchase. The trick here is to find a large ticket item like the S95C 77" and ask the agent for a discount. Since the 10% coupon was not available, the next best coupon they offered was $200 off. They made my cart and wanted me to checkout. Instead, I added the soundbar and removed the TV and the $200 stuck.

Again YMMV.

I don't doubt the Sonos sounds better. It should since it costs a lot more and buying new it's more than double the price. The 990C sounds fantastic and it's clearly the best price/performance winner at these EPP prices. I paid $755 the last time and this time you can get it down to $810 which is a lot less than the Sonos. I expected 990C to sound great for TV/movies and was kind of shocked how good 990C does with music.

Just bought the Q900C for $475 using the Samsung app and the SWA-9500S at Bestbuy for $121 pre-tax. Not quite as good as the Q990C but still pretty good if you're on a tighter budget. My local Bestbuy was OOS for the SWA-9500S but it was super easy to order it shipped to home at the customer service. Also, potential 10% CB with Samsung @ rhymes with detailmenot, I know people have been using Paypal's 5% CB!

I'm curious if this will work.
I bought the q910c a month ago but the swa-9500S were not listed as compatible.

I've read a few comments from other users that they won't work with it.

I got q910c last month for 500(it is still avail at that price ) . It has soundbar , subwoofer and two wired rear speakers . I don't have problem using wired vs non wired) . Should I upgrade it to 990c for 899? Is it worth it ?

Music definitively, but not movies. I have both and Samsung brings out more details than Sono when watching movies. I have a Samsung TV though so it may or may not play a factor.
